Privacy & advertising disclosures

Last updated: 11 October 2026. Is This or That? is an decision-tool website in pre-launch testing.

Calculator inputs

By default, calculations run on your device. We do not currently ask you to create an account. Avoid entering personal or sensitive information into any free-text field.

Advertising and affiliate links

Affiliate offers and advertising placements are disabled in the current release. If enabled later, advertising will be labelled and some outbound links may generate a commission. That will not change the mathematical results or rankings. Paid placements will be clearly distinguished from independent results.

Analytics and cookies

Cloudflare Pages may provide privacy-focused website analytics when enabled by the operator. The operator must verify which analytics are enabled and update this notice with actual providers, data handling, and any legally required consent options before inviting public traffic or activating advertising.

Accuracy

Results are estimates based on your inputs and documented assumptions. Verify details before making decisions.

Contact

Contact details and the responsible site operator must be published before the public launch. This page is not yet the final legal notice.
